Description: Just outside Toronto's Harbor lie the Toronto Islands. A wonderful place to get away from the city. I've been going there for the last 30 years. Imagine my dismay when, one day, I came upon this crochet tree. I examined it closely and could not find any seams. It would seem that someone actually crochet around the branches. I took a series of photographs of this fascinating discovery. Sad to say that by the following summer it was all in tatters.
This picture was taken with a 30 mm SLR film camera, and later transformed to digital. I usually manipulate my photographs so they become a piece of abstract art in their own right. However in this case only some minor enhancements (to highlight the crochet work) were made.
Each print is signed by the artist, numbered (out of 20) and dated on the back.

This print is printed with an Epson R2400 printer, using Epson Ultra Chrome pigment inks and Epson Premium Ultra Photo paper or Velvet Fine Art paper. The permanence rating for this ink and paper combination is rated to be at least 65 years.
For maximum print life, prints should be displayed under glass. A framer can advise you on appropriate matting, glass and frame.
